T-Ski or to use a name most of us will be more familiar with; Mr Trevor Loveys has been keeping busy as of late with a lot of remix work using both handles, and here are some of the fruits of his labour, a remix for cockney electro pop act My Toys Like Me and this tasty collaboration with Aquasky both kindly sent my way this week.

This duo aren't exactly strangers to the blog, one half of the team has already been featured a number of times now under the more familiar guise of Chesus & Rodski and the other half is better known as fellow Cardiff resident Organ Morgan. Avalon however is a totally different kettle of fish, leaving behind all traces of Garage and Baltimore influence and bringing the Funk, Disco and French House stylings to their tracks, sort of in the same vein as His Majesty Andre or the last Voodoo Chilli EP . We're treated to another great Nightshifters EP this month from Chicago's Rampage, cooking up a storm of dubstep, rave, bmore and house in his new release 'War'. Not to leave it at that, Nightshifters have also roped in some impressive remix talent in the shape of Manchester's HeavyFeet and the Italian duo Blatta & Inesha putting their spin on these fantastic tracks. Daniel Haaksman is best known as the head honcho for Man Recordings, a label that played a huge part in the explosive growth of Baile Funk over the past few years putting out his Funk Mundial series with contributions from Crookers, The Count & Sinden, Edu K, Seiji and more. Daniel returns this month with his second EP on his prestigious label, his own 'Gostoso EP', an EP which aims to further the evolution of Baile Funk by bringing in a second generation of MCs, incorporating Miami Bass and Disco elements and touching on the Techno side of Baile Funk which is gathering great support from the likes of Crookers, Sinden, Fake Blood, Radioclit, Riva Starr, DJ Yoda, and Mixhell. The five track 'Gostoso EP' by Daniel Haaksman is out now on Man Recordings and available from Juno, with digital versions available from July 10th including two bonus tracks.

Some hot new summer sounds from big blog favourite Hostage with this brand new track 'Soundboy' fresh from the man himself.

To long time followers of the blog, Brabe will be no stranger. Since his early days, fusing his classical background with a love for modern music Ive been a fan of this Dutch prodigy, and his tracks always seem to reflect his influences and musical experience down to a tee in perfect composition. Its clear that the early works of Dave Taylor and Trevor Loveys have rubbed off on young Brabe, as he continues to develop the deep house sound that the 'fidget' house phenomenon historically spawned from, staying clear of the over-used samples and techniques that categorise most 'fidget' clogging up our download stores today (That is of course excluding his satirical commentary of the genre, see below). The same quality can be vouched for in his latest EP on Jack Union Records as Brabe delivers a great record full of deep, jacking house vibes just in time for the summer. The 'Inner Time EP' by Brabe is out this week on Jack Union Records and available from Beatport and Juno.

Always been a huge fan of the West London label Lougin' Recordings. An off shoot of the equally as excellent Front Room Recordings, the label was originally setup by Chris Belsey, Jesse Rose and Sinden as an output for some fantastic Broken Beat records putting out some classic releases from the likes of Solid Groove, Trevor Loveys, Sinden, Lil Bo Tweak and The Young Lovers. Trevor Loveys has a long history with this label working on a number of the above projects, but its been five years since he released his last solo EP with Loungin' and hes back this year with a welcome return record. With the 'Good To Be Here EP' Loveys delivers a package full of summer vibes and deep house grooves reminiscent of some of the old House Of 909 sounds that Trevor was first known for along with partners in crime at the time, Affie Yusuf and Nigel Casey. The 'Good To Be Here EP' by Trevor Loveys is out now on Loungin' Recordings and available to buy from Beatport and on vinyl from Juno.

Here's a couple of tasty cuts from Canada in the form of remixes from the country's finest Jokers Of The Scene and close pals Nacho Lovers. First up is the mighty JOTS doing their business all over Burns' latest single 'Turbo', and secondly Toronto's Nacho Lovers put their own touch on Cubic Zirconia's 'Fuck Work', courtesy of Discobelle.

Cardiff's finest, Chesus & Rodski have hit me up with a couple of new tracks and news on their latest dealings. First up, two new 80s inspired dubs taking Yaz and The Human League by the horns and given them the Baltimore treatment. The duo have also sorted out a new night in Cardiff, Music By Numbers and have roped in the likes of Raffertie, Foamo, Affie Yusuf and Mumdance for appearances over the next few weeks. Be sure to check out the Music By Numbers MySpace for more info and dates, and keep your eyes and ears out for the forthcoming On The Brink EP from the duo.

The Mad Decent family have just dropped their latest record, adopting L-VIS 1990 to their clan. Check the vid above to hear the fantastic A Side 'United Groove' set to be many a person's Summer Anthem for sure, and you just got to buy this for the equally as good 'Come Together' on the track 2 spot. Yet more Grindin bigups right about now while I spread the word of Bok Bok aka Alex Sushon whose fuilfilled everything LuckyMe could have dreamed of with his latest gem in their incredible mix series. Fantastic little showcase covering every finest cut of Funky, Dubstep and Heavy Bass you could ever need, all mixed to perfection.

Night Slugger, Curb Crawler and all round Big Bass Boss L-Vis 1990 has been turning heads this year with a heavy barrage of remixes for the likes of Buraka Son Sistema, Frankmusik, La Roux, Filthy Dukes and plenty of teasers from his forthcoming record on Diplo's Mad Decent. The genre bending producer side of L-Vis has also cooked up the fun concept of 'Dubble Step', remixing and editing some of the Dubstep champions of the past few months with dancefloor destroying effect, just check out some of the madness going on with these re-takes on tracks from Caspa, Joker and Benga. All you Cockneys in the London area should also be sure to head down to Fabric (Full Details Here) this Friday to catch the man himself live along with Sinden's Get Familiar Residency, including Duke Dumont, Toddla T and Radioclit in the main room, and even more acts.. should be a great night and if I still haven't convinced you yet check out the cracking promo mix hes knocked up especially for the occasion!

Herve's global take over sees one of its regiments, Cheaper Thrills launch another release this week with Brighton's High Rankin making their debut for the label with the 'No Money For Guns EP'. The video for Herve's latest dabble in the genre laboratory, his single 'Baseball Bat' featuring Marina Gasolina was also released this week, and lets just say its.... different, so check it out here and do your best to try and believe what your hearing. AudioFun are Manchester's latest electro exports, and have been quickly snapped up by the likes of Southern Fried Records, BomSquad Records and even On The Brink Records for forthcoming EPs. To be honest Ive found that its really hard to describe their sound in just one post, as there is so much that this duo bring to the table, just a quick flick through their MySpace Player will show your the varied genres that they put into their tracks and this clash of minds is certainly working out for them.

Sorry for the lack of updates last couple of days, Im afraid the bank holiday weekend got the better of me as usual. Hope to get back on top of things this week after digging through the heaps of emails, so here one to kick things off from DJ Neoteric. To support his upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand hes knocked together this fantastic new mix full of upfront remixes and forthcoming Dubsided tracks, and as a little bonus heres a brand new track from his production outfit Smoke & Mirrors and their track 'Insane!' which bootifully shouts out to the awesomeness of the classic from Cypress Hill and gathered the support of Diplo & A-Track to name only two superstar platter spinners. Santiago & Bushido are true stand outs of the Chicago House scene and the achievements of their numerous EPs and their hit track 'Head Trick' from last year, which developed a huge crossover success with varied support from the likes of Switch, Moby, Tiesto and Diplo have shown that the pairing of this production duo has proved successful. The guys have kindly sent a brand new remix to one of their favourite blogs; Electric Zoo, months ahead of its official release with this fantastic remix of Prairie Cartel's 'Beautiful Shadow'. Additionally bundled with this great track is their latest mixtape full of new unreleased material and re-edits from the duo, so be sure to get downloading both of them now and keep your eyes open for their upcoming release on Potty Mouth Music which should be dropping on all your favourite digital distributors next month.

'Sax Attacker' by Tee Ski and Shab Ruffcut is a hypnotic rhythmic beat with a fusion of provocative sounds and samples, breaking down into a jazzy piano before grabbing hold of you with crazy distinctive and memorable sax. Following on from previous Australian exports mentioned this week heres another bunch of Aussies bringing something different to the table. J Goon & Fresney are still keeping things on the downlow right now, so no links to MySpace or anything, just two very good hip hop bootlegs, which dont follow Electric Zoo's standard posting patterns, but these tracks are just so laid back they deserve a good listen in this great weather were having!

Fabrice Dumont, 2square and Antipop, better known to many of you as Telepopmusik are back with their third studio Album. The first single to be taken from the album, 'Ghost Girl' is out on the 4th June bundled with some admirable remixes from Jesse Rose, Tittsworth and Blatta & Inesha.
